I'm thinking of getting a little car for commutting, but my insurers (Directline) won't let me use my NCD on a second car.

Does anyone know any insurers that would match my NCD, even though it's been 'used' on my S2k?

Any advice gratefully accepted.........

 

We have a Diamond policy that allows the main driver to apply NCD to both cars, only one can be protected.
Admiral also have this option with 'multicar' policies, this was our previous policy.

when i bought the s2000 as a second car and had my NCD on the daily transport volvo T5, Adrian Flux (NIG as the underwriter) gave me 50% NCD if i could give them proof of my other NCD (7 years protected)

 

I have my S and a Corsa with Churchill and they have given me my full NCD on both

 

When I phoned around I found out that many insurers were happy to do this as well. In my case I went for A-Plan Insurance (see banner at top of this post).
