Insurance question...
What happens if I am insured at the Primary driver of my S2000 but my son takes it out for once in a while and gets in an accident. Will the raise my rates if they find out he drove it. Or is it okay for others to drive the car even though they are not the primary driver?

Does your son have his own car? Is it covered by the same insurance company as your S2000?
On my insurance (State Farm) as long as my kids (my oldest is the only one of driving age yet) are listed on a policy with the same company then they are covered. My daughter has her own car, but she can drive one of mine or my wife's and still be covered. She is "rated" on the car she drives all the time. Same goes for my wife, she can drive my daughter's car or one one mine.
I would not be worried about the insurance company raising the rates as much as I would be worried about getting my car fixed (and someone else's should she hit someone).
Some folks will list thier kids as primary drivers on the cheapest to insure car (not necessarily the car the kid drives all the time) to avoid paying more for premiums. I would tend to just pay the right amount - or make my kid drive something cheap to insure if they are not paying the bill. In theory the company could deny a claim if they figure out they are driving another car all the time.
I would check with your insurance company and/or agent to be sure, but I would guess most companies work the same way. Get the answer in writing - just in case.
Once you get past the kid stage, then there should be no problem . I loan my old T100 pickup to friends quite a bit and I would be covered under their/my insurance if there was a problem. We don't all have to be under the same company for this to apply.
