Default Insurance thread...

Hi, I was reading an thread on insurance quotes a couple of days ago, but it seems to have disappeared (unless it is staring me in the face and I am missing it) I did a search but could not find it?

Anyhow I am now a member of the UK S2K club, but have not received my membership pack yet and so do not know which insurers give me a discount, and I was going to try the one mentioned in this insurance thread which seems to have vanished? my insurance renewal is approaching so I need to start ringing around, and my Admiral renewal does not seem competitive, most likely due to their nasty policy of crucifying those who are involved in non-fault claims even though all costs are recovered from the other party (my daily driver car was rear ended hence the claim ).

If anyone could provide me with the name of the insurance company that people have been getting good quotes with, then that would be fab!

Thanks!

Check the 'Benefits' link here: http://www.s2kuk.com/s2kuk/index.php

I got a good deal through Chris Knott, who offer to beat your best quote by 10%, although there are others on there. Obviously everyone's circumstances differ so you're never quite comparing like for like against others' experiences, so it's probably still a good idea to shop around and get cover that suits you best.

I'm sure one of the organisers will be along shortly too!

Ahh yeah thanks, that insurance company rings a bell someone on here said that particular company didnt phone back or something when they promised to, but the quotes were apparently good from what I hear, so I will give them a go. Still cant work out where the thread disappeared to!

I also have my 2nd car to insure as well (P reg 1.4 Civic) so I will need to get quotes for that at the same time...
