Hi All.

Im a bit of newbie here, a limerick man living in dublin!!
I posted in the wanted section looking for an s2000, would help if it had a hardtop but might just get that after. And with the euro - sterling rate there looks to be some good value in the UK at the moment.

Anyway if anybody knows a good one for sale in ireland let me know, and im a fan of the Monte Carlo Blue colour!!

Hope to meet a few of ye once im purchased my S

Cheers
John

Hi all, just a quick question for anyone who has just imported an s2000 in the last few months and registered it do you now pay 2000 euro road Tax??

Iv my car just about sold (guy checking insurance) and i checked revenue today and it says pre july 2008 cars who are in the high vrt (emissions) 36% now bracket now also pay E2000 Tax??

Can anyone shed some light on this for me as im planning to get another S this weekend from Uk.

thanks in advance

You will pay the new higher VRT rate but because it is manufactured before June 08 you will still hold onto the old
