Hypothetically speaking, what if someone were to leave the roof down on an S2000 in the sun, go into their house for 20mins, forget the weather, and it were to start drizzling... and what if the car were to remain open in the drizzle for maybe 5-10minutes, max... what advice should one give to such a person, hypothetically speaking, should the need arise?
Dry off the obvious parts then blast down the motorway top down for 5-10minutes? & leave open in sun for a while? Or anything more serious to worry about??

Just check your electric window switches and hazards and roof switch. You could run an air line over the inside to blow out any water that might have gotten in. Don't use much pressure though its only just to blow the small drop of moisture out
OK, thanks, I'll pass the advice on should the need arise
Re: Vtec - checked over the Vtec Solenoid & Oil Pressure Switch wires today and all looked ok... then drove down to the Honda meet in Port Laoise - still didnt think it was Vtec'n. Someone down there suggested taking off the AirBox cover to allow for a clearer sound from the engine/intake as the car did seem to be pulling ok - and YES, the Vtec changeover is audible.
It seems the car is just running very smoothly since the oil change that Vtec engagement is very very smooth - I'd also changed the Air Filter and was told today that until the fibres in it loosen up the engine note will be more subdued also. With the ocver off it's audible, but even then at times its fairly quiet/barely noticeable.
So, good news - It is Vtec'n. Bad news - can't hear it!
My god what a sweet sound with the airbox cover off though eyh?

Hi Oisin, I'll fit it for you, gratis - just let me know when. Oh and you also need to purchase a new exhaust manifold gasket from Honda before we start. You cannot(shouldn't) reuse the old one.
I almost bought the Toda one but the seller backed out. I'ld be happy to see how it feels on your car first...
I'm on the lookout for a J's header. The car is gonna become a project in September
