Default I've got a problem

For a while i've been thinking my clutch might be on its way out as it is quite stiff and the bite is quite high and the gear change can be a bit notchy 1>2 and 2>3 so changed the gear box and diff oil and had the clutch fork greased but no improvment and now im getting a judder when pulling out of junctions and when pulling away a bit sharpish (its not the wheels spinning), when the car is on overrun going down hills etc i can feel vibrations on the pedals and the whole car feels like its vibrating slightly and it sounds like a dronning noise also when on overrun ,if i dip the clutch the noise and vibration disappear ive done a search and i think its the clutch but any advise greatly received.

Sorry about the long post but this problem is spoiling my enjoyment off driving the car so want it sorted asap.

P.S. as from today i am a fully paid up member of the club, woohoo

Vibration bit sounds a bit like the release bearing...especially as it disappears when you depress the clutch.

Test is to have the car stationary, engine running, out-of-gear. Depress the clutch and then release it, see if the noise still comes and goes.

If you are getting this noise/vibration on the overrun with the clutch engaged then it can't be the clutch itself at fault. If the noise dissapears when you disengage the clutch it could be that the noise is coming from a part of the driveline that ceases to be under load in these conditions. I'd suspect a joint in the propshaft maybe?

Much as I hate dealers I'd suggest getting one to roadtest it and see what they think is the problem (don't say what you think it is - tell them its making a noise and see if you can get to take a technician for a drive in it to demonstrate).
