Talking J_D's Silverstone MY99

Hi Peeps,

Well, my Silverstone MY99 is 10 years old, but you wouldn't know it, thanks to the previous owner and a little help from Meguiers .

I had the day off today, and decided to follow Tango's ritual using Megs stuff and the end result is astonishing. I had already deswirled the car about 4 weeks ago so the hard work had already been done, but heres what I did.

1. Rinsed and washed the car
2. Cleaned wheels
3. Clay Barred
4. Washed and dried the car
5. Megs Wax
6. Turtle Wax High Gloss Finish
7. Megs Quick Detail
8. Megs Plastic Polish on rear screen headlights and taillights
9. Autoglym Wheel Seal
10. Megs Tyre Gloss

End results below

Thanks folks,

Just worked out I spent a total of 5 hours on the paint alone, thats with the aid of a orbital polisher too

Looks spot on JD! Love those wheels and the new ride height, has totally changed the appearance of the car and definitely for the better! Wish i'd changed the wheels on mine cos its the only thing i dont particularly like but I didnt plan on keeping it as long as i have!

Thanks for all your kind words once again

J_D - She's just about right, not like your snow plow however , should be good clearance for the aftermarket front bumper next year , the rear exhaust is the titanium dolphin tipped toda exhaust, well spotted

Jim - Long time no see, glad to hear you still have her, get get some new wheels banged on , you know you want some
