Default Jap Alarm Fob - 2 button

G'day Folks,

I managed to pick up a second alarm fob for my car, picture below.

My question is how do you, get it to work with my car?

Thanks in advance

Right here we go. (2min Job)

Instructions for getting a 2 button remote fob, programmed to your car.

The fob in question:-

And now the instructions:-

Things to remember make sure all the doors are closed (and boot is closed)

Sit in car and do the following

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) Fully on.
2. Press the big button on one of the transmitters. (An unprogrammed transmitter can be used for this step.)
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) Fully off.
4. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 two more times using the same transmitter used in step 2.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) Fully on.
6. Press the big button on the same transmitter twice. Make sure the power door locks cycle to confirm that the system is in programming mode.
7. Within 10 seconds, press the big button on each transmitter twice. Make sure the power door locks cycle after you press each transmitter button to confirm that the system accepted the transmitter's code.
8. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) Fully off and take key out to exit the programming mode.

Now you will find that both remotes work.

Things to consider, if like me you already had one remote fob, and your just adding a second you will need both fob's at the sametime to re-program to the car.

Hope you find this useful

Cheers
