Default Jet washed pedestrians...

So there I was today sitting in my 01 S2 waiting as poor unsuspecting pedestrians are crossing the zebra crossing, and I start mucking around with my newly installed SONY head unit. Without me knowing (honest guv), my elbow is resting on the headlamp jet washer thing which is spraying nice smelling window washing stuff all over the front of the car - and I think everyone within a 2 mile radius too!!

I finish mucking around with the head unit look up and realise what

According to EU legislation HID systems factory fitted from new require a self levelling system and a lens washer to be fitted.

I had the same issue, so I got an MY02 headlamp washer switch from a breaker & relocated the headlamp washer to the dash !

Problem solved !

It is on the right on the dash, behind the strirring wheel on an MY02 model. No risk of hitting it by accident there.

Get a newer model.
