Default jumping

Having a wierd problem with my new s2000, basically i'll be in first gear, pull off slowly and the car starts to jump around like it's gonna stall, this is an intermitant problem and doesn't happen all the time.
I'm sure it's not me being a crappy driver and i'm giving the car loads of juice, it only resolves itself when i put the clutch down again, put the car in neutral and select first gear again.

Before anyone says it, i'm not in the wrong gear....any ideas

cheers

While travelling at slow speed in stop start traffic?

Do a search on "Kangarooing" There's loads of threads on it.
The engine gets too much hot air. A cold air intake can resolve it. Or a little more revs when pulling away.
Assuming we're talking about the same problem.

Or a blip on the throttle before moving sorts it out.

yeah Migzy,
This characteristic took me by suprise the first time it started happening!

Just a trait of the car ..

Dont get me wrong - I absolutely love the car to bits, but
I find it suprising that this happens on a 26.5k car though.

Despite knowing about this characteristic and therefore taking the necessary precautions (ie. higher revs, throttle blip) , this still catches me out on occasions and as Robsta say, makes you feel like a complete ar*e!!!

I was told this has been cured in the 2004 model, so I assume you have a pre 2003 car then ?
