Hoping to fit it on my lunch break today? Have an hour and I work at a VW garage so plenty of tools plus mechanics to help. Likely? Surely can't be that hard? lol

Which kit? 57i, Gen-II, Typhoon or OEM replacement?

Only the OEM replacement using the OE air box would be done in a normal dinner break IMO

The others take 2 - 3 hours because you need to re-route vac pipes etc, time and care required.

took me an hour without proper tools and a load of swearing. If you have got the gear it should be OK. The only thing that was a pain was fitting the foam stuff that helps insulate the airbox as it has metal in it and is a pain to bend around the sharp corners.

Can't you work through lunch, and finish work early so to speak and then fit the unit after work?

If you don't fit the rubber surround for the air box you can def do it in an hour and the car will drive fine without the rubber seal so you could leave that until tomorrow lunch...

Took me 3 hours and I'm no idiot. Attaching the metal box to the car is a nightmare as you can't get your hands/spanners in to fix the bolts. It was night though...
