Default Key fob programming

Just got a cheap three button fob off the bay as a spare.

Now all I need are instructions for programming. Does anyone have these?

Do these work for the S?: http://www.handaaccessories.com/civi...ylessentry.pdf

Cheers,

G'day Sport,

Try this.......

Things to remember make sure all the doors are closed (and boot is closed)

Sit in car and do the following

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) Fully on.
2. Press the big button on one of the transmitters. (An unprogrammed transmitter can be used for this step.)
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) Fully off.
4. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 two more times using the same transmitter used in step 2.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) Fully on.
6. Press the big button on the same transmitter twice. Make sure the power door locks cycle to confirm that the system is in programming mode.
7. Within 10 seconds, press the big button on each transmitter twice. Make sure the power door locks cycle after you press each transmitter button to confirm that the system accepted the transmitter's code.
8. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) Fully off and take key out to exit the programming mode.

Now you will find that both remotes work.

Things to consider, if like me you already had one remote fob, and your just adding a second you will need both fob's at the sametime to re-program to the car.

Cheers
Kiwi

Sorry if this is a noob question, but how do you get the immobiliser to recognise the key fob?
I have a big square two button Honda remote which will open doors/alarm vehicle and deactivate the imobiliser.
I also have a remote with three buttons which will open the doors and also opens the boot, however it does not have any effect on the immobiliser.

(I have tried searching I promise )

Cheers

I don't think the 3 button fob will work on a pre 04 car with the "Honda" alarm. Only the 2 button fob will.

exactly the 3 button remote will work - but only the cental locking! Thus making it useless

That's a shame as it looks much tidier than the big old square ones
