Default Kill her or save her?

This is my Midget, just disinterred from the depths of the garden, as part of the conversion from Chez Gad to Stalag Luft X1V.

I reckon the state of her, cost to do her up etc are so finely balanced on the save/bin question, that the only consideration is whether you WANT to spend X hours fiddling around with her. So to speak.

I'm not sure you could do much with a grand!

How about dropping the oily bits into one of those cheap Caterham-a-like kits? Some are very cheap and you could re-engine it later on, if you decided you liked it.

think brutal

for instance - weld up the doors if not junked

defo weld up the boot

so lose all lock and handles

ditch the roof

and all trim

bar two lightweight seats

or cut all the external steel off and replace with one-piece grp front and rear

who cares about paint?
