Default KW v3 Coilover

Am looking into buying KW v3 coilovers in the next few weeks and am wondering if there is anything else I need to buy prior to fitting them like drive shaft spacers? Am not intended going super low just a 25mm-30mm drop

Cheers

You do not need drive shaft spacers at all - read this thread for explanation :

Make sure your car has a functioning adjustment on suspension. If any bushes are seized, now is the time to get them sorted so as you can get a full adjustment.

25-30mm is about borderline for steering rack spacers. When I say borderline I'm referring to a sufficiently negative handling attribute and not a mechanical reliability issue.

Spherical bearing toe arms are also an option to improve the action of the rear bump steer. The benefit will b e more pronouced on a <04 car.

You could also get roll centre adjusters (AKA a spacer between lower wishbone and balljoint.)

Remember to loosen all suspension bolts and only tighten with car on the floor as to minimise bush bind.

And after about 500 miles, get the car re-geo'ed/corner weighted as that will give the springs and dampers time to bed in.

Cheers mate, my car is a 03 and I had a full geometry alignment done a few year ago and all the bushings were greased.

I think it would be a good idea to quickly check everything is still free before I fit the kit as that could be costly

I will have a look at the other bits you mentioned online

Thanks again
