Default At last......

Hi all
I introduced myself a couple of weeks ago, at the time I had already been looking for an S for some time.
I was originally looking for a lowish mileage pre facelift model as i'd given myself an initial budget of around £5k.

However, the more I looked at them, and the more I loved the facelift model, and I eventually decided to forget about the initial budget and go for what I REALLY wanted...

So, at last, meet my 05 GT... all original, full Honda service History, lowish miles...
Pics from this morning (it was very cold!)

I am not planning to do too much on it, as I like the all original look and feel. So the only things on my radar for the next few weeks/ months are:
-Treat her to a full fluid change
- Alloy refurb, will probably do that when I change the tyres in the not too distant future
- Fit a backyard Special lowered seat rail on the passenger side. I am 6'3 so could do with the 20mm reduction. Not keen to go down the DIY route even though a lot of the guys here have done it successfully. Would like to achieve a bit more than 20mm but not happy to go for aftermarket seats either, I really want to preserve the original look...
- will probably get the geometry looked at

That's pretty much it, i was also planning on selling the hardtop to help digest the budget increase, i never really wanted one, but I have kind of got used to it now, and I am thinking of keeping it...

That's it, now I can finally wave at you lot on the road />/>

Stock S2000's are boring!
2 months ownership you'll want to sort exhaust and induction!

Welcome

My advice is keep the hardtop. Especially if it's the cars original one and fits well. Each one seems to be specific to each car.

Looks nice! I just got one last week. It's pretty agonising not being able to drive it that much this time of year, but I can't wait for spring.
