Does anyone know what type of festoon bulb is fitted in the interior light? The OEM light measures 28mm long with a metal cap diameter of 7mm. I have tried a 269 bulb but the one that came was 34mm long and a cap diameter of 9mm. I would like to fit LED bulbs in the interior and boot lights so where to buy them from would help

 

I bought this... looks great, makes the cabin feel more modern, but certainly not chavy as some LED's can do. I'm no away to order the "trunk" LED's and might take a gamble on the number plate LED bulbs.

Was one of my first mods on the car - sort out the dingy footwells and crap boot light.

 

I changed the boot and interior lights to LED some years ago but I've wanted to install some footwell lights

ive got the led strips but wasn't sure where to pick up the switched feed from.

Uncle fester - where does the wiring for the interior light originate from so that I can splice into the wire? Thanks.

The weird adapters that fit those square multi LED things in ... i just spliced the wires off those and fitted more of them in the footwells. Same thing in the boot.

Hahaha I was wondering if I could pick up the feed lower down rather than feeding the wiring up to the interior light.
