Default Left the Fold

Ok, so I really made a decision out the blue on Friday to sell the S. It sold the day after, and was gone at 2pm! Only having owned 6 months, it was a pleasure and it scratched my itch for me, having been a previous owner in 2004-2006. The family required a better bus than the ageing 530d I own, so I swapped from the 02 plate S2000 to a more sensible 09 Focus Zetec 1.6 Petrol. Boring, but nice little car and handles fantastic for all its lukewarm fizzy power. 19,000 miles and 1 owner.. for under 7k! Facelift version with the melted Mondeo-esque lights, red display and alu-interior. The wife is happy, but it's all part of the plan to get myself a cheap track dayer (Accord Type R or Clio 172) and go halves with my brother on one.
So a shame to leave, you're a nice bunch and I've told the new owner of my S to come online here, as its the holy grail for everything S2000 (Chris is name is).
I'll still lurk a bit, older S's do crop up at alarmingly cheap prices and you never know... I could be back.

I have some winter wheels for sale in the FS section, wrong time of the year to sell these but make me an offer and you never know!

Incredibly nice chap Simon, very knowledgeable and loved the set up of your S. For sure, I'll be there at some point this year

Likewise....
I have to admit, the 02 plate never felt as good as my original W-reg when it had 45,000miles on it. Old school for the win
However, it felt safer and better on the limit. I remember the snappy ar£e end in the W reg - I did drive it like I stole it though back then

Cannot believe that Clio 172's are £1,000 now, ATR's half as much. Sunday morning blasts through the countryside will be missed. Just got a £350 refund on the insurance today swapping to the Focus, its only group 6
