Default lets predict the future shall we

This is the only forum I use

Is there some kind of natural life for a forum

What happens to forums when they are past their use?

lets look into the future-say 5 years from now

Where will this place be?

My prediction is as follows:

In 2006 the S goes out of production. Honda say they will release a replacement but it's still on the drawing board.

in the meantime the majority of current members have got rid of their S's. There are cars going for less than

I post on a few boards and they all seem to have a natural ebb and flow, peaks and troughs., and this one is no different, although still a pretty class act IMHO

If they drop the S, then eventually what will happen, is that the chavs will get'em and break away to form their own shit forum where they talk about underbody neons , big bore exhausts and furry dashboards. This will be a blessing in disguise because most of them will kill themselves in record time as well as ridding the world of a fooked up S.

What will be left here is a hard core of die hard, purist 'leave it alone' 'bone stock' enthusiasts, who have meets from time to time where they swap original brochures and stuff, and the odd ex-owner who will visit now and again to see if there are still any names he remembers.

Hiya,

I think insurance costs should keep the chavs away, I hope so.

I'm just about to start my S ownership, the last thing I want to happen is be sitting in traffic, hear boom-tish-boom-tish and look over to see a chav in another S next to me winking at his 14 year old girlfriend and smelling his finger.

eeeuuw...surely 2 seaters aren't for chavs?

hey moggy, did people actually say the things in your sig?

Yeah i guess the novelty has worn off to a degree.

When i first started using this site, i wanted to know everything and anything about the S, as do a lot of people on here i would say.

Once you have read the FAQ, done countless searches and read who knows how many posts/looked at pictures.

Got the info you wanted on what mods you might want to do, what DIY fixes you can do, any other bits of info you might need.

Modified your car, been part of group buys (thanks again to those people)

Then ignored a bunch of idiots (but you cant ignore the mods..... damn)

There just seems to be a load of posts on what poilsh is better, look at my polished car posts, a bunch of posts to try and get a rise out of people and a load of spam that isnt any thing to do with the S, like skippers flying kites ffs

I prefer to drive my S2000 rather than talk about it.

And dont get me started on the 04's

I have been put right by other people on the forum on this who have seen all this before. High insurance costs won't keep them away-eventually the depreciation of the car will increase to compensate-look what happened to the Mr2

That is me! I have the 02, 03 and 04 original brochures which I kept as well as all other documentation to hand down when I pass my car on to my children or sell it. I have turned into an anorak......
