Oh and another thought from me.

It is YOU people who make the forum what it is, we have no-one but ourselves to 'blame' if we don't like it. And i suggest if you dont like it you off and don't use it.

I for one am beginning to lose my patience with the amount of trolling and shite posted 'On Topic' we have off and no topic to do that, please use it.

[QUOTE=Moggy,Dec 2 2004, 11:04 PM] This is the only forum I use

Is there some kind of natural life for a forum

What happens to forums when they are past their use?

lets look into the future-say 5 years from now

Where will this place be?

My prediction is as follows:

In 2006 the S goes out of production. Honda say they will release a replacement but it's still on the drawing board.

in the meantime the majority of current members have got rid of their S's. There are cars going for less than

The S2ki site is still one of the better forums for petrol heads, I still read/post on S2Ki and I haven't had a S2000 for a while now. I don't really look at Porsche/TVR/Subaru forums as much as this one which must mean something.

The novelty is bound to where off too, but I think the site better than it used to be. There's some older wiser S2000 heads and the less knowledgeable members, which gives the site a good mix. When I first joined a few years ago it seemed to me there was an "in group" on this board, which included some of the moderators, its not the case now and the board better for it imo. Members who overstep the mark are kept in line by other members generally, so you get to hear everyones opinion, not just the loud mouths.

Plus the Site Moderator's do a better job of being impartial, any of my, shall we say more vocal posts have been edited evenly and with an unbiased view. Plus the Moderators seem to put more effort in than a few years ago. Three cheers for the Site Moderators

(edit because my english lit. is even worse than normal with a hangover)
