After a little bit of advice, done loads of searches for the answer but cant find it anywhere.

Im after a aftermarket head unit, and i want to connect my I River h10 mp3 player. Whats the best way to connect it to a headunit ? i dont want to loose quality, which ive read i will if i connect thru the headphone socket. Just wondering what do i do ?

I would like to control the mp3 player thru the headunit if possible, any advice on this would be great.

not sure if anyone makes a controler uni for i river there are ones avail able for ipods

i use a alpine head unit with aux in cable

 

Whats the quality like with aux in ? is that thru the headphone socket on the mp3 player ? Id like to keep all the cables hidden, so does the aux in connect at the back of the headunit or the front ?
