Please accept my apologies - I hadn't realised I was going to upset so many people. I wasn't aware there was such a strong Jazz following on here.
It's probably more to do with the perceived attitude that not only must the dealer make a loan car available, but that it must be of equal quality. Life just ain't like that....

Loan cars are a customer service, so the dealer is always going to run the cheapest cars it can to minimise the cost. It wouldn't make much sense to have a fleet of top end cars just so that someone bringing a high spec car in can have a "like for like" courtesy replacement.

but it makes getting back in the s so much better

p.s. what is a certain age.
In and around Northants the typical Jazz driver tends to have white hair with a tinge of blue and have a shopping trolley in the boot

Again apologies for the perceived attitude. I've only had the car 6 weeks and this is the second time they've had it in for one of many problems. They were supposed to have sorted out the kangarooing the first time round, and I took it on trust that it was resolved but hey as you say "life just ain't like that" Sorry again

No apology required - I really wasn't having a dig

Your first mistake was, of course, taking ANYTHING on trust from a dealer If you haven't already done so, you'll very quickly learn to assume the worst from the majority of the Honda dealership network and anything they manage to do right will then come as a pleasant and unexpected surprise!

(There are honourable exceptions, of course, like every rule - but they seem to be few and far between)

One could only describe a proper Hydropneumatic Citroen as a "curtsy car!"

"Of a certain age" means 'late-middle age' or 'MILF' in French.

My favourite Jazz hate is the James Watt flywheel; every time one upchanges at the redline, it revs off into infinity for days on end.

The CVT version is a very sensible car, however.

Far too sensible for me, admittedly, but for TC Mits, the perfect small car.

I have the CVT and nothing is wrong with it all all. You guys every see the torque curve on the Jazz? The S can learn a thing or two from that

Plus, is has steering lock as if it has front/rear wheel steering, relatively good with gas, and can carry your whole house in one go with its various seat/space configurations. One of Honda's best cars in my books. I think one of those ratings things the other day had The Honda Fit/Jazz as #1, and the Honda S2000 as #2.
