Mornin'
I dropped my S of this morning for them to look at the kangarooing problem and asked for a loan car. Explaining that I have an appointment in Uxbridge tomorrow, a 2 hr drive for me, with a very large computer company I needed something of equal quality etc to the S. So what do they present my with - a 1.2 Honda Jazz
What a bag of ****
It reminds me of when I used to own Impreza's and used to get a pink Justy as a loan car

Simple answer - pay more for insurance and car repairs/servicing and get better loan cars.

My favourite Jazz hate is the James Watt flywheel; every time one upchanges at the redline, it revs off into infinity for days on end.
cannot believe no-one else found this side splittingly true!perfect mental image of large traction engine flywheel. awesome!
Haaaannnnnggg onnnn.
Kangarooing is a "feature" of many S's and happens in traffic due to lack of cool air getting into the air intake. A blip of the throttle is what is required. (also bumping the throttle when roads are bumpy creates similar prob)
If you have a different Kangarooing problem then Honda should fix it.
As for the Jazz. What's wrong with it? It does what it's meant to and is a fine car for it. Certainly it's not a sports car, and I for one wouldn't want one but that itself doesn't make it a bad car.

I managed 104mph on the clock on a loan Jazz.
See what you get get out of this one.

It has to be said that it's not as stable as the S at this speed. IMHO, the Jazz 1.4 Auto is a pretty good functional car.
I agree. Along with the S, I have the 1.4 CVT version (for the wife). An excellent vehicle all round, perfect for town driving. Does 40 to the gallon in town, drops dramatically driving at 90 on the motorway - although still feels stable. 111 is the max I have managed.....
We have 4 honda's for the moment being serviced by the same dealership. Courtesy cars have ranged from a Jazz to a legend and about everything in between
.
As long as it runs i'm happy...
Judging people by the car they drive is rather daft imo.
