Default Locked out

Hi to all S-lovers

Is it possible to turn off the automatic locking of doors when the car moves off? It's annoying, unnecessary, and once nearly got me locked out of my own car! I got out of the car with the engine running to close the garage door, then as I returned to the car, with a sinking feeling I heard the "click" of the doors locking. Luckily, the window was wound down, and I was able to reach in and unlock the car, but if the window had been up...
Local dealer Rowe's here in Plymouth says deactivating the automatic locking is not possible, but I knew board members would not give up so easily.

Cheers

- Carl

Hmm ... don't think mine does this. Have you looked at the "Lock" switches inside the car?

Mine doesn't do this!

And no mention of it the manual I don't think.

Maybe thats what my switch does!

Do you not mean the re-locking when you don't open the door, and it locks itself again?
