Locking seat belt
Bring the seat belt clip to within an inch of the seat clasp then, holding the webbing close to your chest, give it a small but sharp pull to lock the belt. Then push the belt clip into the clasp.
With trial and error you can get the length right so that the clip and clasp just about come together with belt tight and locked. Get it just right and the belt will stay locked and hold you tight in the seat.
Potentially useful for trackdays or spirited driving
Another approach if you don't normally have the seat right back is to lock the belt much as above but a little looser. Having first put the seat back one click now bring it forward to tighten the belt against you.
The belt has to be tight enough to loose all the slack or the belt will unlock when you push back into the seat
I have tried it around the block and it certainly holds you tight
but I'm not sure if it would stay locked with all the g forces on the track.
Worth a try.
