Hi John,

Good luck for Saturday - I hope everything goes smoothly for you and your patient 8 months wait will be rewarded!!

600 mile run-in - just drive it round the M25 a couple of times

Glad to hear that the S is finally hear.
Take it easy out there as i have caught the rear twitching slightly the last couple of times i have been out.

Break her in gentle once you have reached the 600 miles, not just slam it straight to 9000rpms and remember to check the oil religiously.

I have used nearly a litre in 1500 miles

Have fun.

Hi John,

Good stuff! Hope you enjoy your new car this weekend.

I've got to wait until January for mine...

You mention a delivery checklist - don't suppose I could ask you to send me a copy as well (the one in the Library has a corrupted file error)?

Cheers,
Simon.

PS. Let us know your first impressions when you can!

Good to see it's hear.

Have fun running it in, only took me 3 days to do the 600 miles of that 300 the first day and still want to do that every day.

Have fun chap. I know you will! I have racked up over 8,000 miles in mine now and have only had it about 3 months!

Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy.

But beware the oil as Simmo said.

Mine's using 100ml per 100 miles so don't leave it to fuel stops.

Have fun, try a wet car park first.
