Default Looking at this S2K... thoughts?

Hi guys,

Been talking to Mike @ Torque-GT regarding this: http://www.torque-gt.co.uk/index.php?act=p...l&productId=148 .
Im on the verge of sending a deposit for this, been after a lightly modded S2000 with a HT for a while.
Can anyone see any potential issues with this car? Is it known on here? Does 96k miles sound too high (owned by a Honda technician and serviced/ maintained meticulously according to Mike)? Id be travelling from Edinburgh to Devon to buy, so cant realistically go and view/ drive first.
As you can see from my post count, Im a complete noob, although Ive been an S2000 fan from day one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I met the guy who owned that car.

I bought a lot of stuff off him when he reverted it back to stock. He owned it for about 3 years and tricked the car up with Coilovers, exhaust, Spoon header etc.

He tried selling it with all the mods for near £9k but ended up selling off the bits and px'ing it. I think he px'd it for a DC2

He was a Honda Technician and a very nice guy

Hard top yes but also says he's removed the soft top? Means if you take of the hard top you'd better be doing a circular trip on a warm day.

I can vouch for Mike if it helps and have known him for years. (Torque GT is local to me)
I bought my S2000 from him and my brother and sister have bought from him too.
A great company and honest guy.

The soft-top is still fitted, despite the ad saying its been removed. I assume that you dont have to remove the soft-top every time you want to fit the HT? Again, excuse my lack of S2000 knowledge!

No, the HT sits over the folded soft top.

is that MY04+ rear bumper? if so, might be worth checking for accident damage to the rear? just a thought.....
