LPG Conversion
I had my BMW converted a couple of years ago.
In summary, don't bother.
In detail ...
The car's been back to 'them' (PM if you want to know who to avoid) numerous times to stop it setting of emissions warning lights. Even now, when they've said yet again "it's fixed", I don't believe them, and some of the symptoms (inability to keep idle revs is the main one) still remain. I'm just waiting for the warning light.
Economy is ~30% down on the equivalent style of driving on petrol (best on LPG=26mpg, petrol = 36mpg, average on LPG=23.5mpg, petrol=32mpg), so the savings aren't as great as you'd think. When really booting it, economy is far worse than the equivalent on petrol.
My system has paid itself off, and I will probably gain by about

My wife is currently using her dads range rover which has an lpg conversion to tow her horsebox , it seems to use almost twice as much gas as petrol and the gas is just under 50% of the price so it doesn't really work out much different, however when on gas it knocks while idling, sounds like a diesel, seems to run hotter too,
I don't think its worth the hassle
some guys have been talking about it on the dc5 forum but due to the i vtec it seems it might take quite alot of mapping to perfect the install.
you could prob get a reasonable tank in place of the tool kit, but you would be forever filling it up.

If the price of fuel bothers you, get a Hybrid

I'm not saying i'm complaining, cos i bought a sport's car, i expect it to be pricey to fuel, however, i'd be pretty chuffed is they put 99 ron fuel back down to
Not sure how an S2000 would cope, but with the V8 Land Rovers, the common "pump it in before the carb / throttle body" type of conversion (as distinct from multi-point injection) means that you need to run a damn sight richer on gas to keep things cool, with marginally less power and less torque, but only a slight decrease in fuel consumption (12mpg vs 15mpg). The other reason for this is to avoid entertaining but damaging backfires (flames out of the air filter and a dead MAP sensor).
If you shop around, LPG can be as cheap as 38p/L without avoiding the tax man, although you will need a trade account.
