Default Making K&N pay for a driver

So, the K&N Gen II kit is now installed. Has anyone had any success in getting K&N to pay for a driver after they lost their license? I mean I just want to keep this thing in VTEC all the time to hear the roar that comes out. It might just be me, but the motor feels much more responsive as well.

They're great aren't they? I think it thoroughly increases the fun of driving...I still love it, second is my favourite gear for the changeover noise.

Didn't you read the terms and conditions that came with the filter? It clearly states that K&N are in now way responsible for turbo nutter influence that may possess the driver once the filter is fitted.

Hehe, yup, about 7k is where the 'rip saw' effect takes hold! Expect your mpg to decrease.....!

Where can I get further info on this induction kit? What sort of price is it, what power increase does it give, and does it void manufacturer warranty?

Thanks,
Dave.

Bloody marvelous bit of kit. Not much more power, but it gets into the power band quicker...

it says on their website 9.5bhp increase. This sounds a lot. Im tempted to try it.

I've not noticed a power hike (it is supposedly 9-10bhp), but it definitely revs more freely, making heel-toeing a little easier.

It wont gain anywhere near 9 or 10bhp. it would be in the 1-2bhp range IF it does make power. Most likely reduces power by a bhp or 2 due to heatsoak.
