Any tips/advise on fitting a j's exhaust manifold. What to remove go in from the top or bottom etc.

Cheers Mark.

ive just fitted my buddy club one and its a real simple process,

jack the front drivers corner of the car up on a axle stand,
undo the cat and lamda sensor from underneath

then everything else can be done from above,
remove heat sheilds,
there a small bracket with a 14mm bolt head holding the manifold to the block, undo that,
undo the engine mount nut all the way,
undo the top manifold nuts

place a decent size piece of wood on a jack and using the sump or gearbox jack up the engine 2-3 inches (perfectly safe)

manifold should come out easily from above with a little giggle

reverse above steps to fit new one

hope that helps

Just make sure that with jacking up the engine you don't accidentally lift the car off the axle stand

Not yet Colin kept it standard till recently its still only done less than 16k. The manifold's the first mod.

Got some nice Ray's wheels,Greddy exhaust,Spoon TB,Password bits,Strut braces all to go on tho.

Did you find another or you gone for something else?

Hope you didn't jack the engine too much. I don't know the limits of the mounts but I only did mine a couple of cm. They are liquid filled IIRC.
