Si, good info thanks

Those 1000 miles were all spent near the limiter, so it's good to hear the resutls on the wear metals. I was running pretty rich for one race as we didn't get mapping sorted, so it was hopefully just that. The AEM appears to be a very good option for power and filtration then. I'm pretty sure it's a K&N filter. Look forward to the new oil, thanks muchly!

It will be interesting to see the difference between the Dunlops and A048. It's good news that you're able to attend a couple of races before the end of this season.

Sorry about but since Si reads this... Should one use Edge FST 5W-30 instead of 5W-40 TD?

So other than a moment or being forced off, you get punished. I'd started to use a lot of excess track after some of the race tuition I had, but will cut back again!
About time with this imo, its gone beyond a joke in recent years with drivers exploiting this loophole of allowing 2 wheels over, in some cases barely staying within the track limits lap after lap; Not blaming the drivers, if the rule allowed it then of course drivers will use any advantage they can but it made a mockery of having limits to what constituted the actual race track and I wholly welcome the change.

I find it amazing that it's taken this long to tighten this up as I imagine it will help also with safety not having cars regularly dipping 2 wheels and often all 4.

On the whole I agree with it, but I do wonder if we will see more drivers panicking and having a moment trying to save running wide and being penalised, rather than just letting the car run wide a bit. The problem is that to a marshall, you have no idea if someone is taking the piss or genuinely overcooked it, so you have to apply the 100% rule. Might be a few early casualties until people get the hang of their reference points again! But as I say, no issues for me.

Will have to see how that pans out at Silverstone next week. If it's wet, i'm f@#ked

Car appears to be behaving after new injectors, coils and updated TCT.

I'm going to run invitation and use A048 again, although it's looking like there will be a bit (lot) of rain.

Some excitement from last year for anyne who's bored! Really enjoyed this race.

Love the brown pant overtake into Copse!

Well, my pants would've been brown anyway...

Well it's totally pissing down, were all on semi slicks, and I've still never driven a wet trackday :s

Might be interesting.

I've made a lot of changes to setup for today.

As a wise man once said to me, 'the car reacts the same in the wet, just at a slower speed and it breaks more quickly'. Easy then.....

Gd luck!
