Hi Rob, car is in a shite state, covered in sawdust and muck, i'm almost embarassed

Once it's back home it will get some TLC.

Yours looks good too, those BBS fit like a glove.

MB, what engine mounts are you using/going to use?

Just standard, Exalto. The OEM ones are fine for NA I think. If I was keeping the turbo on then they would need upgrading though.

Nothing happening on mine car wise for a few weeks, just some pondering and sourcing of a few bits.

I'm quite surprised. Wouldn't a more solid mount assist power delivery to the wheels and increase throttle responsiveness?

Just trying to wade through the hype for my own jobs list.

It would, but it's very low down on the list of things to do as the OEM ones perform very well I think. It's only a common upgrade on big power cars, as the mounts can wear out quickly. My car has only covered 29k miles and the turbo wasn't on for that long, and not used hard. Mine appear to be in fine order.

Thanks for posting that up, that's not a bad price at all for 1 on 1 tuition.
Didn't realise you could do a half day for £350.

I'm planning on a fair few outings this year and this is something I'm seriously considering for later on in the year once I've got to know the new car a bit better.
