I know the factory who made the Mugen hardtop, they are the one made the Spoon hardtop as well. I can get it for much cheaper and exactly the same but will be without the Window tho as they only make the hardtop for them, you can get the plastic window made in UK. Price will be about 40% cheaper.

There's loads of parts to the kit other than the roof itself though, like all the seals, and hardware for the spikes on the sides etc.

Yeah that factory gives all the seals, it is basically exactly same as Mugen one but without the rear glass.

plus the Mugen HT uses a lot of oem parts such as the location pins, strikers/clamps and rubber seals. Which Mugen include as part of their hardtop package.

There's a few places in the US that sell non genuine Mugen HTs, Perhaps they also buy the base unit from the same factory. Some of those suppliers also have their own hardware for completing the unit. There's even a company in the US that makes an Alcantara headlining kit.

There's a handful of them that seem to do the rounds of the UK members. Loads of threads about the non Mugen Mugen hardtops on the US section of the board.

Yes is getting alot more non mugen mugen hardtop now as the exclusive contract expired so the factory is now free to use the mould now, that's why we now got a chance to buy the same stuff without the badge for about half price I just found this out not long ago from my friend in Hong kong
