I promise to post pictures when the car is finished, but I'm still waiting on parts from JP.

Chris.

No issues with the centre console, and no door touching!

I just have to drill a hole through the floorpan and get a nut tack welded on the bottom. Might sound easier than it is!

Bigger radiator would be a good solution surely.

I've been using the HAMP filters for 4 years without issue. Although I do have a blue OEM for the next one.

Cars looking good . Since your using the AEM you can ditch the secondary air pump as well to shave of a few more pounds.

Skinny front and rear, Chris. I will get some pics, but looking today and takling with Dixon, I could have happily gone for 225 / 255.

Loon, not sure if Dixon wants his prices posting but will drop you a PM. The issue I had was coolant temp, and effectively the oil is boiling the coolant. So the oil cooler treats the source. It has in internal rhermostatic valve so it opens abou 75 deg c I think. Not needed for a road car.

Yep those tyres will be shot soon! Expensive
Any idea of the pressure drop across the oil cooler?

Was nice to meet you yesterday Mark, Your car looks beautiful! Have you check the fitting if they are still all dry when you got home?

Lower - The pressure won't drop with the oil cooler, on the Yellow supercharge S2000 we build we had put an oil cooler and with Defi pressure gauge, the pressure stays exactly the same with the cooler.

Also whats wrong with the HAMP filter? They are Honda Aftermarket Parts which purchased directly from Honda Japan by myself and we never had a problem with those. So technically they are still Honda OEM oil filter.

Cheers for the PMs Mark.

Are the Yokos as grippy as R888s in the wet?

I found the a048 gives alot more grip in the wet compare to the r888.

I was once at brands hatch, It was a heavy wet race and I was the only one running a048 and all the other 20 cars were running either t1r or wet cut r888. Result - I won the race in my class, came 3rd overall and the 2 cars in front of me were Evos with 500+ bhp. Same result at silverstone last year, was completely like a river plus being so flat at silverstone make it even more slippy, we were running semi slick againest all the others running wet cut semi, we won the race again by a huge margin.

Once it's warm you will be surprise how well those semi slick can actually grip. You just need a good wet geo/suspension setup and the rest is to trust yourself and the car.

I've not tried them in the wet, Loon, but i'd go with what Dixon says! I know when I had them on the Exige, I could pull away flat out in secong gear (and that's very rapid in an Exige S) in standing water and it didn't bat an eyelid. S should be ok but I will just go steady.

Back to the cooler, it seems to be working so far! No leaks, and no flashing CEL on the AEM

BTW Dixon, that girl in the waiting room was very nice
