Modding sections?
I agree with OP, I personally enjoy reading about everyone's different takes on treating their S, and as much as I enjoy healthy banter it has got a little tiresome when people at opposite ends of the spectrum collide.
I think that with dedicated sections it means that although anyone can still post anywhere and banter about, to be quite frank if they really don't like what they know will be in those threads, then they have no business posting there - or to put it another way "if ya ain't got something nice to say, don't say anything at all!"

No reason why you can't use the existing forums, these are not exculsive to the US members.
'The Gallery' is the place to post photos of your cars.
( ..... and the Photography Forum is the place to learn to take nice photos)

Look at this way, what negatives would there be from a sub forum here? I can't think of any.

Fully agree, suggested this a month or so ago but the thread decended into the usual arguements.
I think with only 920 Uk members we could have one section covering projects and pictures, sort of a show off your car and what you've done to it area.
And then a modifying section covering all performance, handling and cosmetic modifications and questions.
Would be a big positive for the forum!

I think a UK members gallery would be great.
I think it should be split up into just one category;
Member's Build Threads/Gallery
You could add...
Wheels and tyres
Suspension and brakes
Exhausts
Cosmetics
But IMO we don't really need it. Just a section for individual mods and cars.
It's nice to have everything together so we can check back on cars that we are interested in.

Yeah, I like checking back on projects but the recent ones that have popped up like D2's interesting one, OllieCRXs etc are now back on page 4-5 of this sub forum.
Hopefully those like eSeM who have obviously done alot to there car judging by his sig would post up too.

there can only be 1 answer. run a poll. i think it would benefit greatly. also there may be one in the US but its not necessarily relevant to the styles or availability in the UK.
i propose a new section with 3 sub sections...performance, styling and other....there is always going to be something that is a grey area

Basically all other car forums I visit have seperate engine/bodywork/suspension sections, and if you don't agree with modding the different bits then you just don't have to look inside the sections.

aside from organisation, i fail to see what more sub-forums will acheive in terms of

couldnt we just have a 'hot potato' subforum and move anything that would cause a conflict in opinions there?
