Sounds like a plan and I have 2 sets of 08 wheels for my car.
Buying winter tyres sounds better than nasty things happening to Linda (and me). Shall have to investigate the tyre choice available.

Just a thought, getting some 16" wheels would probably reduce the cost of the winter tyres considerably, if the comparisons for the normal tyres are anything to go by.

Lots of folk here with spare sets of 16" wheels lying about which can probably pick up for not much too.

Am I right in thinking that all VSA cars will be in the higher road tax bracket due to being registered after March 06?
