mods?
My take on it is most S's realistically will yeild around 200-205WHP (unless your in the USA
), some dyno's are in-accuarate and read high.
I used the same dyno 3 times the only way for the delta

I'm using a J's throttle body, J's Tsuchinoko intake, Toda header and a Toda de-cat and cat back and am at 217 whp. (JDM car btw).
how much more of a differance is it between the jdm and the uk spec??
i.e power
what actual diff is there on the car bits tune etc?
like the ep3 is 197 but the import is 220bhp due to tune etc cheers

Mine spent a few hours bolted to this, but as said - there are more than a few dodgy dyno's out there ! I've witnessed one that suddenly stated a 5 degree increase in ambient air temp in two secs !

I think you are getting far far too hung up on the numbers.
JDM versus UK spec is discussed loads, so try a search on that one.
If you want to try it again, go for these:

Wokka - was that the IT or AT? Intake temp will obviously shoot up a lot, and S2000's do not like dyno's...

My s managed 211 at the wheels and is about as far n/a as you can go - other than cams - it is possible to get over 200 with sensible mods but then the cost of doing all these over the last year is comparable to buying a s/c or turbo kit.
Down on power on a dyno. Has your car done big miles/been ragged all the time/had regular services etc? I watch TG and when they put their older cars on the dyno they always seem to be down and it always amazes me how many horses are lost.
I have to admit that I am no mechanic so i may be talking crap, therefore just ignore me

But most only lose a few ponies, IME honda's seem to be excellent at retaining power.
My car proves this, though its been more than maintained/serviced
