Default MoT fail?

Would having two front tyres with inside edge wear like this fail an MoT? I suspect if I have to ask the answer is in fact yes

"A minimum of 1.6mm in a continuous band throughout the central three-quarters of the tread width, throughout the whole of the circumference"

Cheers for that folks. I'm off to see a friendly tyre fitter in the morning to see what he thinks and to get some prices for a new pair of fronts.

Not sure it's worth getting them swapped round plastic91, but I know what your saying. If only I got this done a few months back I would have gotten a bit more life out of them.

When it comes to tyres I'd rather be safe than sorry

It's okay Nick. I don't/can't drive fast in the wet.
