complete and utter

a myth - much loved by the enviromentalists

all the Armageddon predictions completely ignore untapped resources (such as those under the poles) and rely on technology (in terms of exploration, extraction and refining) not moving on from present levels

Not exactly correct.

It is correct if you are a member of Joe Public

But if you run a truck etc - it costs you more. You can claim VAT back - but not duty.
So a huge rake in on tax for the Govt.

Not sure what I'm getting, try not to look normally but seems I got more miles than normal the last couple of tanks, still running in though so nice and easy even with the top down.

Speaking of fuel economy, I am sick of getting 20mpg, even when I drive slow.

I have replaced my primary o2 sensor today, even though I had no CEL, in a bid to improve this.

I fail to believe that my right foot is the cause because I seriously think I odn't drive that aggressive anymore.

Also depends on fuel I get 280 miles from a tank of 98RON and 220 Miles from a tank of 95. Needless to say 95 never goes in my car as it is not cost effective!

But what is the point of this tread really? anything between 200-300 miles per tank is normal and less on track.

Are you sure its not MAF causing it to over fuel and not the o2 sensor?
