Christ! A new car part arrives and doesn't sit in the garage for a number of months before fitting!!! ;-)

Only messing with you Fraser. It looks good.

Seems the early start had you a little confused though.

yes i dont know why i didnt put in straight in the garage, has given me hope that i might get all the parts I've bought onto my car at long last.

confused start ? pictures in wrong order ? yeah i know but what the hell, it shows willing. i am pleased with the fittign, soon as i put it in though i realised it all needs to come out to get hifi cables run everywhere, which i am hoping to get started next weekend, so car will be out of action for a few weeks as i need to completely strip it inside.

fun i think not.

I have been working on the car this morning

So far I have managed to fit the Mugen radiator cap.
Are you planning on fitting a different thermostat as well? What's the mods list look like that you're doing?

I had a look at the thermostat instructions this morning but I am probably going to wait until it is dry to fit it along with the rad switch.

All the bits in the 'Soonish' bit of my sig are either in my garage or in the post.

I have never really thought about doing this mod ...... until now, it certainly looks an improvement

What do you think Fraser, worth it?

i have amended the pictures so they are the right way round now, it has given a better feel inside, never did like the carpet, little bit fiddly when you first start it but all you need is a philips screw driver, flat putty knife and a credit card which is used to push it all behind the cars plastic that you don't take off.

its a cosmetic thing only but worth the effort.

Sweet. Looks great. I've got one in mine and haven't looked back, it transforms pre 02 cars. The carpet on the console makes the interior look a little cheap and shabby, the cover is well worth the investment.
