Make sure ytou put plenty of vaseline on the threads of those metal valve caps otherwise when you come to remove them, you'll find it impossible.

Ok... well... I cleaned the roof and used the autoglym kit to waterproof it just before the octane day

I was happy with that

The we had a wet octane day which was great. Greasy slow and sideways

Roof down in the drizzle and it still let feck all into the cabin

So I booked it into icetronix to get the minor little scratch on the front bumper sprayed out as it has been niggling at me

That's next week. But this morning the car decided to remote start and drive into my house. No more minor scratch

I'm just glad I wasn't crushed as I was standing in front at the time. So it'll need a bit of love now

It remote started? I know people say these cars have personality but that's taking it a bit too far!

Hope it doesn't cost you too much to get fixed.

The popped in to have a look at the car and it's been stripped

I'm getting a few other bits done while it's in there.

Finished....

or so I thought

Sunny days are made for this

There was only one rusty bit annoying me. The vtec solenoid
So I got a cover for it... quick fix and a bit cleaner looking. It was supposed to be plain black with no writing. But for 6 quid I won't complain

So the car went back as the headlight fitment wasnt perfect and I noticed the paint had spiderwebbed at where the washer jets were. So they took it back and sorted it

Just have to give it a polish myself to make sure it's perfect.

Still have to go back and collect my spare bits from the shop though
