My DIY Garage Project!
Hi,
I decided with Winter almost here that the S2K needs a good place to sleep at night!
So I set too and cleared an area to build my new garage!
Luckly, we have a large area at home with flat ground, perfect for building a garage...
Here is what the view will look like from inside...
The first few blocks go into place... The garage dimensions are 11ft wide by 19ft Long.
A bit more progress.....
Preparing for the roof going on...
And the roof is on.....
The next stage is to concrete the outside area so it's nice and flat and then paint the inside walls and floor.
UPDATED 20TH NOV!!
Well it is nearly finished!
I have now painted the walls, the electric is sorted so I have some plugs sockets and lights!
Next stage is paint the floor and put up the graphics on the walls.
28TH NOV - ITS FINISHED!
And all this for the love of a car

Looks great but I agree with above, with all that free space why not build a bigger one?
I'm only jealous as I don't and can't have a garage myself where I live

Its 11ft wide and 19ft long, so there is plenty of space inside.
Also, we already had the wooden roof beams and the roof material, but not enough for a double! and i'm trying to do it on a budget!

Nice work mate! Looks good! I need a garage where I can get the car in, open both doors and still walk around the car! Tall order?!

The reason its not bigger is basically because it doesn't need to be any bigger!
If I had that amount of space to play with there'd be a multistorey

I disagree a garage can never be big enough

But in reality, I am doing this on a budget. We already had the roof material and alot of the blocks. But not enough to make it any bigger without spending a fortune.
I have to factor in paint, lights, concrete etc also.
But i'm pleased with it! If the weather is ok over the weekend i'll be laying concrete outside so its nice and flat, and maybe start painting the inside.
Ill stick some more pictures up once its done.
....I have also ordered a 9 foot 'Power of dreams' graphic!
