My knob is scratching my ring !
Although I do love my knob, even on cold mornings, its now scratching my ring !
I recently got married and my current gear knob is scratching my wedding ring so it has to go (the gear knob, not the ring !)
So I want to change to a non aluminium gear knob. I enquired about the cost from Honda for the MY02 & MY04 model gear knobs as they are part leather, but at well over

Contact a breakers, I got an > MY02 knob for a tenner !!
I had the other problem, the person I bought the car off wore a wedding ring and it scratched his knob, ooh err !!
Alternatively get a new ring, I wear a 6Al 4V Titanium band, not a lot scratches that

That was the only mark to my otherwise 'mint' S2000 when I got it.
A previous owner must have had a thumb ring, and had worn the right hand side of the gear shifter.... I need a new knob !!!

I noticed my knob was scratched at the weekend. I stopped wearing any rings a while back, so I guess it must be the missus. I'll ask her to get 'em off to save my knob any more hardship.
Covering my knob in leather or sticking it in a bag sounds a bit too advanced for me.
