I have killed the S...



Looks like I will be rebuilding an engine over the summer

Well, depending on how long my rebuild takes, I may well have a spare myself.

1 Spare engine in car
2 Broken Engine stroked (hopefully)
3 Stroked engine in car
4 Spare engine spare again

Comiserations though, age mileage etc, just in case any similarites ?!?

You spoken to Honda yet, worth a go !!

Yep. People not putting oil in/servicing them, and people ragging the tits off them.

First two yes, but the third, is this car supposed to be driven like driving Miss Daisy ?? I think not !!

Mine was a 65000 mile engine of which it had full Honda service history and oil checked weekly !!

Hmm 2 engine failures in a week hardly enough to start worrying, especially as these are the few.
