My trip to Tango
Hello everyone,
I'm not going to go into as much depth as some people have done so, but I really did want to tell you about my experience.
My MCB had started to lose its shine, the colour was not as bright as I remembered and although I'd washed it regularly and used various products such as Autoglym and Zymol, the swirls and scratches were starting to make the car look a little lack lustre. (Apparently my washing technique contributed to the problems)
Also, I seemed to have got some white paint spot marks on the car, and I tried to get rid of them with some cutting paste, leaving a horrid haze on the driver side that made me sigh everytime I looked at it.
So, finally got it round to Tango, who lives just a few minutes up the A1M.
Lee was so friendly and at first we were worried about the weather stopping him achieving what he needed to do.
I have a couple of photos, but just from my phone, so I will upload them after I put this up. Do you know how it feels when you spend some money, and you almost get what you want, but it's not quite right in one way or another, and you feel a little disappointed? This is NOT what happened last Wednesday. Lee spent around 7 hours working on my car, each panel machine polished and rennovated. The paint has pretty much been totally repaired and she looks fabulous. It feels amazing to the touch and everyone who's seen it has been impressed, there are stunning colours within the MCB paint and the car is turning so many heads.
I was delighted with the results, and I learnt a lot from a guy who is genuinely passionate about his work and the S. He even made me lunch !
I paid Lee

These photos just don't do it justice, the first one was the first panel Lee worked on, and the end result photo my hand was a bit shaky due to all the homebrew!
