I like so far although i think i prefer the old black wheels tbh?
There for sale, would look great on yours

I'm not fussed about what other peoples opinions are as long as there put across in a polite or diplomatic way. Which so far all have done, even if i don't agree.

I like the look of it in fact, i like debadged, smoothed - arches properly filled etc.

That said, it wouldn't get in or out of my drive and you'd need to reverse into every parking space in the UK or risk bashing the front end on the kerb

The car looks good imo, but I kind of expected this reaction because aesthetic mods will always polarise opinions. Some will like it others won't.

Some don't view aesthetic changes as mods as changing the wheel offsets, camber settings, suspension and ride height could be argued as adversley affecting performance rather than improving things.

The impression I get from your changes is mainly for looks. If you wanted to enhance performance you would probably be looking at lightweight wheels ~ CE28N's ~ better suspension as MeisterR's are a step back from stock IMO.

That said, the car looks good and does was it says on the tin, at least as far as you and your crew are concerned

That's the thing though isn't it .... 'improvements'

Did you see the 7 minutes of track footage between a J's modded S and a fairly standard one. IIRC the laptimes were within 2 seconds of each other.

Improvement is subjective i guess.

I think you're spending too much time justifying what you do to your cars, and not enough time posting nice photos

This really is the only forum that's so full of people against modifying/personalising cars it's nearly ofputting.

Getting your point across is one but hammering on about it in every single topic gets very boring very quick.

Yes everybody has his own opinion we established that a long time ago so why not just leave it at that and make this place a nice place where people just chat about their cars instead of constantly argueing about who's right and who's not!
