Hi,

I have searched the UK forum and I want to know if it is possible to add an aftermarket exhaust to a 2006 S2000? I like the Invidia and the Tanabe exhausts and will be looking to import from the US.

However will it fit my 06 S2000?! Is there any differences from earlier years. I read something about differences in the exhaust tract but it wasnt ver clear.

I read same problems for the J'S 60RS... but then I asked to J'S racing and they told me that it not true.
Still they suggest to me to use j's Exhaust Mount Bush for a perfect fit.
Still, I don't thing that there should be any difficulties with other exhaust for recent model.

 

It will fit fine, I had older Invidia on the MY06 here.

There is an extra hanger added to the back box of later models, but you don't need to use them.

Fit an older AP1 exhaust and either use only one side of the three holed rubber mount, or buy a simple rubber donut type from dealers or Halfords etc.

 

mibjr, your car is not a DBW MY06 model year though. The later DBW cars have a different bend in the exhaust to clear part of the chassis which is slightly different.

If kem_kc's car is DBW he may have problems.
