MY2002 Official CD/MD combo player!!!
I have just received the official brochure from Honda Japan! And yes the car does come standard with a cd/md player1 And it's made by Bose!
The new colours are as follows:
Monza red pearl
Lime green metallic
New imola orange pearl
Platinum white pearl
Seats come in:
Full red
Full black
Full blue
Red seats and black carpet and dash
Black dash with half leather seats
Clear side repeaters
Larger Honda emblems
chrome headlight mouldings
chrome rings around the rear lights
Interior
Chrome door handles
Improved display - solid white line for the tachometer
tweeters
side pockets on doors
Basically, the car looks so much better than the 2000 and 2001 models - only small changes have been made, however it makes a huge difference!
I will scan some pictures and post them later today!
I can't stop drooling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure that these are spec's for cars coming to UK? It sounds to me that they may well be for the Japanese market.........audio equipment is notoriously 'region specific'.
A lot of the stuff is as has been documented previously for the UK MY2002 car - but the only place I hace seen the 'interesting' green and orange colours is on a Honda Japan site.

Hahaha! Very funny!
Anyway - a lot of people are saying that Honda change the head units for different markets but in the case of the S2K - they have kept them the same for all markets and I can safely assume that we will be getting the CD/MD combo!
Still trying to scan the pictures and some drool too!!!!

When the woman at Letchworth Honda read out the UK spec. sheet over the phone last week she mentioned a CD/MD player, unfortunately she didn't know any more than what was on the sheet - but the UK spec. does mention MD.

Cool - so the 2002 model will definitely have the MD/CD player - I feel sorry for the people who bought it earlier!

I have a copy of the UK spec from my local dealer and can confirm it says CD/MD player.
Rumour has it that record facility is included as well as blue tooth dongle for PC MP3 downloads.

I am new here but have been follw'g what happn'g in this forum evryday. Very interest'g, as well as informative. As such I have decided to change my order from a new Black/Red Interior 2002 model to the blue after reading about the Blue. However, the dealer I bought fr (in Netherlands) says that Honda will not accept change of clr, new clr means new order and another five months wait ! My black S2k is expected to arr in Dec/Jan, if anyone is interested, I can transfer the order to him/her, if not, the wait will go to waste ! Pls email me if you have interest. The price I bought from Holland is NL65700 (2001 FY price) inclusive of Cruise control, 6CD changer, pre delivery insp, CoC, Handling etc...(full UK Specs)
