Mine MY2001 (~ 2 weeks old.) is around 1800.

Seems to add up

My car was delivered in April this year and has VIN: JHMAP11301T200001...........i.e. #1 of (European) MY2001.

Just shows that there can be quite a lag between build and delivery

This may be a silly question given your handle but what colour(s) have you gone for?

Ah, I see your point

I went for Silverstone with Red leather. The "Red" in my handle is a tribute to ManU (Red Devils), my other passion after Ferrari.

(I have always lived in the Manchester area, supported them for 19 years and have a season ticket - don't flame me too badly! )

............its strange isn't it...................if you support Man U, any confession of this apparently heinous act has to be followed by a justification............I also support Man U (yes, I was born in Manchester, and my dad played in the Man U youth team with Duncan Edwards and Dennis Violet) but as I am in exile in the SE everyone assumes I am some sort of sad glory seeker. This, coupled with a long term admiration of Ferrari seems to cause some me some embarrassment............why, oh why cant Ferrari return to those halcyon days of promising so much, but delivering so little??!!!!???. I almost feel envious of my chums when the subject of who supports which footie team come up in the pub......Watford.........Bristol City.............Wimbledon.....Bournmouth (yes, really!!)........Man U - 'bloody glory seeker'

Hey ho!

Ah, but I bet you'll be changing the reg to something more memorable soon!

Bro', when are you coming 'round with your new purchase? I need to experience this car as soon as possible! I'm almost as excited as you are! (I've been working on the wife for a sport little number for myself but I've a feeling my efforts are futile. Still no harm in trying.)

The roads of Cheshire seem to be popular with S2000 drivers at the moment. I've seen quite a few recently (probably a couple each day, on average) but today's downpour was a sure-fire way of emptying the roads of exotica. The black S2000 in Knutsford and the Silverstone in Alderley Edge are regular spots.

Later.
