Default Need some advice...

Evening all,

Was hoping those who own a pre-MY04 S2000 who have had their clutch changed by Honda under warranty for the 'buzzing' issue could offer me some advice on how to approach Honda with regard to getting it sorted with as little fuss as possible.

My issue seems to be slightly different from others who have posted since my problem seems to be intermitent, not particulalry audible and not just on the over-run below 4000rpm.

Some days the car is absolutely smooth as silk, which is brill, but on others there is this horrible 'harshness' to the car with a high frequency buzzing coming from through the clutch pedal which is becoming more frequent and driving me nuts.

There is also a definate 'hum' that can be heard when idling that disapears when the clutch pedal is depressed - obviously you can't here this when driving.

How should I approach this issue Should I mention I am aware that other owners have had there clutches changed Was there ever an official recall for clutch issues

Any help/suggestions will be mucho appreciated guys and gals

Thanks in advance

Andy

TBH I would think you would have problems as out of the 3 year warranty (by the looks of your details) worth a try anyway, but as most people have said it is only a 'cosmetic' noise ??
