Me personally i would go for the car cover.Except from the fact that protects the car from weather it also helps not to attract the attention of potential thieves and people who likes vandalize nice cars because it attracts their attention. This is very important when you continiously leave it in the same spot or street for a very long time.

You can put anytime a private plate but this sort of protection will help you extend the exterior contition of your car.

Another solution is to buy a custom made S2000 cover quite cheap, same quality as the Honda one and have money for the private plate as well. Mine is custom made and it fits perfectly (tight fit, no way it will blow off from the air) in my car and the quality is suberb (sun protection, water resistand and breathable) and it cost me 80 euros.

Don't get either. Get an air intake e.g K&N Gen II. The induction noise will give far more joy than a plate or a cover!

Can I ask what plugs you have in your bumper either side of the plate? I have some that I knocked up myself in mine but they don't look quite as good.

Sorry, don't mean to hi-jack the thread.

Go for the plate IMO.
They're from Halfords ~

I never had any problems with the plod but you do get the touchy ones.
